《Shinji Hidaka》
Born in Aichi Prefecture in 1972. After working at a game company for 15 years, he enrolled in a ceramics training school in Seto City, Aichi Prefecture.
After completing his studies, he worked as a potter at a pottery in Gifu Prefecture, then established his own studio in Mizunami City, Gifu Prefecture.
In April 2016, he relocated to Hinase-cho, Bizen City. He creates everyday tableware using white porcelain, sometsuke (underglaze blue), green glaze, ash glaze, and carbonized yakishime (biscuit-fired ceramics).
